About Brodies Pub

Brodie's Pub named after Steve Brodie, who in 1881 was the first person to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge and survive! With the proceeds of the wagers he made for this feat, he opened his first tavern and musical pub at the foot of the Manhattan Bridge on bowery. We cater to a family trade at family prices! Our "musical pub" opened in Yorktown, NY in 1981, the 100th anniversary of the great leap. We moved to Mohegan Lake in 1989. We try to bring to you the friendly atmosphere of that old fashioned musical pub and tavern. Brodie's Pub and dining establishment tries to offer the finest in quality family style dining- "In the Irish Tradition". It is our sincere desire to make you comfortable and at home.
